Physiotherapists commonly use this exercise to assess the ankle range of motion. PROM stands for Passive Range Of Motion (PROM). Step 1 – Start by crossing one leg over the other while sitting on a chair and holding the foot with your hands. Your feet should be positioned so that one hand holds the ball and the other has the heel. Step 2 – Rotate your foot slowly in and out with your hand. As you move your foot, be sure to keep your ankle relaxed. Repeat 10-12 times 3 sets in a row Once-daily 5 days a week
